Logistics for Foundations in Prenatal and Perinatal Dynamics, Chapel Hill, NC

This Foundations course in Integrated Prenatal and Perinatal Dynamics™ offers the basic building blocks for working early overwhelming states that may occur starting preconception, including conception, pregnancy, birth and attachment. Often called early developmental trauma, recognition, reaching and healing ruptures or interruptions in development from this early time are increasingly seen as the cracks in the foundation of human health. Current healing science now includes overwhelming childhood experiences and ancestral patterns; the prenatal and perinatal period is the missing piece. This introductory workshop will give you tools so you can normalize early difficulty and have a skill base to help families get the best possible start and individuals onto the healing path. The first step is working with your own internal states and is vital to the relationship you establish with your client base. Our course combines early trauma resolution with midwifery model of care.
Come, study, learn, heal.

    • There are hotels in Chapel Hill, Carrboro and nearby Durham
Restaurants:
  • In the Timberline shopping mall is just above us off of Weaver Dairy Road. It has sushi, Mediterranean, coffee shops and more. Then just across the street is a large grocery store, Harris Teeter.
  • We love Bartaco for tacos. The food is very fresh. That is located further away in the University Mall shopping area.
  • Weaver Street has good food with a food bar. Quick and easy. And Carrboro has many lovely little restaurants and shops to explore.
  • Downtown Chapel Hill has restaurants, but parking is challenging there.
Walks:
  • A large 716 acre forest with many trails called the Carolina North Forest is nearby. It is a half mile away, but you can drive and park there. The Pumpkin Loop takes about 45 minutes. We mountain bike there.
  • There are many parks, and there is Duke Forest that is very big. There are many natural amenities.
Exercise:
  • Just up the street is an Aquatic Center for Swimming and a YMCA. There are many small gyms and boutique workout places.
I hope this helps you feel welcome here. Please let me know if there is anything you need that we can help you with.
