Welcome to the Salt Lake City, UT Foundations Course

This Foundations course in Integrated Prenatal and Perinatal Dynamics™ offers the basic building blocks for working early overwhelming states that may occur starting preconception, including conception, pregnancy, birth and attachment. Often called early developmental trauma, recognition, reaching and healing ruptures or interruptions in development from this early time are increasingly seen as the cracks in the foundation of human health. Current healing science now includes overwhelming childhood experiences and ancestral patterns; the prenatal and perinatal period is the missing piece. This introductory workshop will give you tools so you can normalize early difficulty and have a skill base to help families get the best possible start and individuals onto the healing path. The first step is working with your own internal states and is vital to the relationship you establish with your client base. Our course combines early trauma resolution with midwifery model of care.

Class times: 9:30 - 6 pm each day except last day we end by 3 pm

1. Getting There

• Airport: Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC).
• Uber / Lyft from SLC to venue: ~$20–25 depending on traffic.
• Taxi / Rideshare similar cost — ~$20–30.
• Car Rentals: Available at Rental Car Center. All major brans are available at the SLC airport
• Public Transit (UTA): Useful buses / TRAX; get a FAREPAY card or app. Schedule & routes at Ride UTA Schedules & Maps.

Please note that the TRAX station from the airport does not take you directly to the venue area. You will have to take TRAX as well as bus to reach Millcreek area. 

2. Moving Around

• Uber/Lyft good for local trips (lunch, dinner, etc.).
• Buses cover much of Millcreek / Fort Union / Sugar House. See Ride UTA schedule and maps above for detailed information
• If staying close (within ~1 mile), walking + bus + rideshare all work.

3. Lodging Options

• Airbnb ‐available all over SLC. Neighborhoods not far from the venue: Millcreek, Holliday, Sugarhouse, Fort Union. Neighborhoods that are nice but further drive: Avenues, Capital Hill and Downtown. Neighborhoods that might be less expensive but a longer drive: Sandy, Draper and Lehi.    
• Hotels / Extended stays: Choose places near Millcreek, Fort Union, Murray or Sugarhouse for proximity near the venue.
