Meet Our Teaching Team

The training is co-taught by three instructors and supported by teams of teaching assistants
The Integrated Prenatal and Perinatal Dynamics™ training is the fruit of the relationship between Kate White, MA, BCBMT, RCST©,SEP, CEIM, PPNE, PLC  and Lois Trezise, CNM over 20 years of collaboration. Kate brings a wealth of somatic trauma resolutions skills, the study of prenatal and perinatal somatic psychology, and working with families with babies. Lois brings 40 years of midwifery, childbirth education and her own experience of prenatal and perinatal psychology. They each bring their own years of spiritual and physical practices for nervous system regulation and connection. The training is taught in 3 day modules over 12-16 months. We provide additional opportunities for trainees to learn. All of our work is recorded. You will have lifelong access to the materials. We are still growing as a community and as a teaching team, so we expect our materials to grow and season.

Lois Trezise, CNM

Picture
Lois Trezise is a nurse-midwife of 40 year’s experience with a Master’s Degree in Midwifery and certification in hypnosis from ASCH. She received her Certified Lactation Counseling from the Healthy Children Project in Boston.

Lois has attended births at home, out-of-hospital birth centers, and both large city and small community hospitals. Her experience has given her an in-depth overview of all the different ways in which labor can unfold and how to help prepare and support families. She developed her own childbirth course that integrates hypnoses into childbirth education, and a manual for parents to better understand the birth process.

She worked with Kate to co-teach Conscious Pregnancy courses that integrated childbirth education, prenatal and perinatal somatic psychology and the baby's experience. She currently lives in Brattleboro, VT, and presents several times a year at the Center.
Eileen Sendrey, CMT
Picture
Co-Creator Advanced Modules on Double Bind Practice and Application
Eileen is a Pre-and Peri-Natal Somatic Educator and Practitioner, Registered Craniosacral Therapist (RCST®), Certified Massage Therapist (CMT,) a Castellino School Approved Womb Surround Facilitator and Breema® Instructor and Practitioner.

Eileen works with adults, individually and in groups and families with babies, children and teens to help understand how early traumatic events show up in the present; and how to transform those patterns toward integration and health. Her current work is a culmination of three decades of study and work as a bodyworker, yoga teacher, Breema® instructor and community organizer (with a particular emphasis of working with pregnant couples and babies) before studying and mentoring with Myrna Martin and Ray Castellino.

Eileen’s work is based in the understanding that each individual has an inner guidance system to their own optimal health. People don't need to be “fixed," just supported in connecting with their innate rhythms, impulses and intentions.
